| It`s hard for Israelis and Americans to view these actions from the perspective of Iranians. Imagine if Iran was sending nuclear submarines up the Suez, heading for Israel. What would Israeli intelligence analysts report? And how would politicians subsequently react? Furthermore, how would the media report this? It would be utter chaos, the world over... Now, imagine if Iran was a contemporary superpower. And imagine they invaded Canada and Mexico (like the U.S. invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, two countries surrounding Iran). How would the U.S. respond? Would they have insurgents, would they be carrying out militant activity? Yes, they would also be bombing Tehran nonstop. Even though Ahmadinejad is a nut, I think Iran has reacted relatively well to the constant drumbeats of war from the West. If Iran applied the same military doctrine and foreign policy that Israel and the U.S. applies, Washington and Tel Aviv would be under a constant barrage from land, sea, and air. |
