| "Jewish Republican" has always been a contradiction in terms. Despite the existence of some high-profile Reaganites and Bushies with deep pockets that nurtured the fantasy that American Jews would vote with their pocketbooks (funny how that`s turned out, isn`t it?) rather than their cultural values, the overwhelming majority of Jews are and will always be Democrats. After 8 catastrophic years of GWB, the Republican Jewish Coalition has been reduced to a cadre of raving lunatics who would be tried for treason in any country other than the US based upon their rantings against the president. Too bad for Coleman that has thrown in his lot with them--RJC is more of a joke than anything Al Franken ever told. |
