With the hijacking of the Peace now boat with a US congresswoman on board Israel needs to put a positive spin on any stories being aired in the US media.
Hence the possibility of Israel mulling the possibility of partially lifting the siege.
Israel has a policy of using starvation coupled with the occasional `action` in Gaza by it`s military to either kill the population off or to make life so untenable that the indigenous population leaves.
