| This does not even pass the laugh test, much less the reality check. Why would the woman show a toy gun and ignore the warnings of the guards? She was begging to be killed, right? Answer: This did not happen as reported. In America, police have been known to carry "throw down" guns, to be used when they shoot an unarmed person. A toy gun is a perfect throw down weapon, because if the police (or IDF) are caught with it, it is no big deal. Not like an actual unauthorized weapon. The toy gun works as well as a real one when in the hands of a perpetrator. When something you read does not make sense, it is wise to question it, even if it supports your personal bias. |
