You can`t help yourself. On one headline Natanyahu has a fairly decent approval rating, and comes out with flying colors, and this headline says he`s all wet?
No matter what the public thinks there has to be somebody to spoil the party. Coalition politics works that way, and there ain`t no way to git around it. Unlike his immediate predecessor, Natanyahu tells us what he thinks, not just to us, but the rest of the world. So some people in this country disagree. There are cultured ways of dissenting, but our "wisemen" would rather trash that discuss.
It is said of Begin "the Fascist" that when the Security Forces offered to remove the dissenters to the Lebanon War from the streets outside the PM`s residence, he declined the proposal--he said it was their democratic right to protest. Compare that with the way Rabin`s Labor government dealt with the post-Oslo period.
