| Chemical weapons were used by Saddam`s Iraq to kill 5,000 in Halabja and many thousands of Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war. And as late as 1998 UN weapons inspectors were scouring and purging Iraq of WMDs (like VX). So the fact is that Iraq did possess them, but unclear what became of them. In any case Saddam paid dearly with his whole estate for his lies. Lying---particularly high profile lies---continue to do more damage to Muslims than anyone else could. |
