How can Israel have a double standard when it comes to the Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox young men? Why can they continue to study and never
serve in the military while being supported by tax payers. This young man isn`t taking a penny from the Israeli tax payers and will be a great asset to the country is being treated so harshly. I am sure Harel has a green card or can apply under special circumstances to the USA government temporary residency (green card) and then for USA citizenship. Wouldn`t that be a total lose for Israel. It looks like a case of Israel cutting its nose to spite its pace. It is very laughable to think that Judge Noam Sohlberg cites JFK as bases for his judgment. So far Harel hasn`t taken anything form Israel but is willing to give more then many Israelis give. |
