| And what about the Big Lie? In 2002 the US and Israel attacked the heads of UNSCOM, Hans Blix, and the IAEA, Mohammed El-Baradie, as fawning, supplicants and Saddam apologists lying to the world because they had found NO evidence that Iraq had any weapons of mass destruction? This FBI report proves that the Bush administration and the government of Israel were at best distorting the facts and smearing anyone who did not share their distortions and delusions. At worst, it shows that the evidence available to the world in late 2002 was that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction and the governments of the US and Israel were lying. What to justify such a harsh charge? One of the closest men to Saddam Hussein had told his controllers in the CIA that Hussein had no WMD and was bluffing. . . |
