| You have a distorted view of American "aid." The aid that Israel received days ago from the U.S. was in the form of the U.S. being a guarantor of Israeli loans. The hugest amount of U.S. aid is in the form of joint U.S./Israeli defense contracts. What you should know is this: the U.S. has benefitted enormously in Israeli technological/security exports to the U.S. You present a picture of Israel as some dying 3rd world nation that would collapse tomorrow without the U.S. as some kind of big daddy banker. This is totally false. The U.S. benefits equally from its investments. Which is quite different than the millions and millions the Palestinians have received for years and years and years--the only population on earth that inherits "refugee" status. Duh, if the Palestinians renounced terror, they could have had prosperity years and years ago.... |
