| The settlement freeze is a Phase I step. But so is the end to violence on the part of the Palestinians! I think that what the US is attempting to do is to (a) get agreement from the Arab states to move on to Phase II without (b) holding the Palestinians to their part of the bargain for Phase I. Hey, you can`t be much more "even handed" than that! |
