If Obama tries to do ten different things at the same time, he will fail at ten different things. Obama should continue to concentrate on getting Israel to freeze settlement construction. This one thing will take all of his ability. If he fails, then all of the other things will become moot. Negotiations with Iran, relations with Syria, talks with Hamas and Hizbollah, land for peace, right of return, all will disappear from his agenda. If Obama cannot get Israel to freeze settlement construction, he will be finished in the middle east and can concentrate instead on domestic issues instead. He will have no choice, as his respect in the world will be nil.
