| The West Bank and its people have never been annexed into Israel. The vast majority there have not even been offered Israeli citizenship. Consequently, what goes on there is hardly an internal Israeli matter. Not even the Israeli government thinks so, else it would have made some move to incorporate the people who come with the land. Israel is hardly being bullied. Rather Netanyahu and his minions are behaving like bullying pr*%ks towards the elected Presidents of the US and France. Olmert and Sharon before him bragged about getting a US President to behave like a dog doing tricks, asking how high as they sat and begged for Israeli approval. Now comes Barack Obama who won`t just bend over on command. Tough! Maybe Bibi can get an appointment with Rahm Emmanuel if he doesn`t want to talk to Mitchell. Mitchell has displayed the patience of Job. Somehow I don`t think Emmanuel would feel the need to be so diplomatic. |
