The people who have undermined the `democratic will` of the Iranian people are those who were afraid to allow a free election. Iran has enjoyed free elections for 30 years, but Ahmadinejad was afraid to allow a free election in 2009. His methods and means of corrupting the process were so blatant and obvious that only a fool could ignore them. Iran is a nation which sees one story in all the propaganda and hears another every night when the disenfranchised go to their roof and shout that God is Great and Death to the Dictator. Ahmadinejad`s thugs cannot silence that protest, nor can they ultimately survive. The Ayatollahs must at some point decide whether the revolution will persist, survive, or whether another will sweep it away. |
