| Unfortunately for the rabbi, the type of reasoning that holds in Orthodox Judaism (women shouldn`t do such-and-such because it bothers men -- who are, after all, the ones who matter ) does NOT hold in the army, in the working world, etc. If his religious men`s units are unable to cope with the presence of women, then let the good rabbi find more ways to isolate them. But don`t interfere with women`s opportunities to contribute to the IDF, or any other aspect of life. |
