| The bulk of the previous Talkbacks are shameful and shoddy exercises in evading the one question that matters: is she right, or not. And the answer is: of course that she`s right. Israeli culture is today best typified by the "Israeli Driver;" selfish, discourteous, sure that he, and only he, has the right of way, and occasionally dangerously brutal. If you cannot see that we have become our own worst enemy, take your head out of the sand and open your eyes. The Palestinians have no rights? We can treat them without any respect what so ever? Can we not try to understand how the average Palestinian man must feel when our attacks fail to kill the terrorists and kill his son instead? We are the stronger. Morally, ethically, for our own sake, we must be more giving instead of demonstrating that most glaring attribute of the Ïsraeli Driver; constipation of the spirit. |
