| "Or is there a border between Austin, Texas, and Dallas ?" - Flo They are in different counties, and worlds apart. Dallas is stuck up, prudish, nasty and cold, a world of difference from warm, friendly, down home Fort Worth just a few miles away. Austin is Weird. It even pushes the slogan `Keep Austin Weird." Quite the opposite of the parody "Keep Dallas Pretentious." Austin is home of the Texas Liberal. He is allowed to roam uncaged on Sixth Street and often seen at Waterloo Records. The Texas Liberal, bless his pointy head, is view with tolerance and pride. One is not too many. |
