Several weeks ago the Time Magazine had an article about the supposed moodiness of G-d. It described how all monothesitic religions tended to be intolerant of other people. Only when two or more religions were force to mingle do we see tolerance. And, only as long as this was needed. As soon as one side became stronger then the other their sense of tolerance melted away. In fact this is exactly what has happened with Islam. As Israel tried to compromise with the Arabs, since the early 90`s, the Mulim rage has exploded. As some say, Israel is the canary in the mine. Just open your eyes and see the disaster that compromise has brought.
Of the 3 monothesitc religions Judism is the most benign. Since it allows anyone who incorporates the 7 laws of Noah - something that most religions support. |
