Haaretz is an Israeli newspaper, so of course it analyzes events from the perspective of how it affects or related to Israel. Anyways, there were several articles on Jackson over the past couple of days. This one article was the only one that focused on Jackson`s relationship to the Jewish community. Furthermore, I am all for thinking globally, but there is nothing wrong with caring about and being proud of your own community - whether that is a religious community or otherwise. In summary, I`m not quite sure what you think is pathetic. I find that people who claim to be annoyed with "the Jews" focusing on themselves more often than not have their own baggage. Get over it. |
