If one comes out and states that Israel wants all of Judea and Samaria, one is making no different statement than those who state that God Gave All of ancient Judea and Israel to the Jews.

Yet the first statement will have you branded an `anti-Semite` or one who `hates Israel.`

The second is quite acceptable.

Why?

What IS the difference?

Is the first too pragmatic, and the second delightfully romantic?

Is the first too brutal, and the second wrapped in moral superiority?

Or is the first too honest, and the second simply absurd?

Is `honesty` `anti-Semitism` or are the Jewish Settlers right?

Or, is honesty just honesty which agrees with the settlers in less flattering terms than they would use?
