And that again is the question. So what?

What is more important to the Netanyhu government of Israel? Possible ties with Arab nations, or the toppling of Prime Minister Netanyahu`s government by the Israeli right?

Benjamin Netanyahu did not become leader of Likud because he was for freezing settlements. He could NEVER have become the leader of Likud if he had wanted to surrender the Judea and Samaria.

His ruling coalition is dependent upon parties to the right of Likud, including Mr. Lieberman`s.

The UN, USA, EU and UK - indeed the world - would love to see Israel abandon the West Bank, allow a Palestinian state, and get on with being a responsible member of the world community.

This is not as easy for Israel as the world thinks.
