| Haaretz wants a foreign minister who prostitutes the national interest in order to be liked by foreign governments, a government of Israel that surrenders "for peace", and an army that gently persuades the bad guys not to do bad things. Too bad the Israeli electorate doesn`t agree. Haaretz just can`t stand that in a democratic election, Yisrael Beitainu finished as the third largest party in Israel. Polls predicted even more mandates, before the Likud campaign ran the frightening ad that "a vote for Lieberman will put Livni in charge of the government" which surfaced as the Likud slipped just before the election. |
