| Spain first needs to judge and condemn themselves. Spain`s lust for empire and gold knew no bounds. Their hideous history was steeped in the blood of their victims , both in Spain and in their colonies. Native Americans were slaughtered by the tens of thousands as Spain plundered and murdered. Thousands of others were enslaved and worked to death in their mines. Later Cubans and Mexicans were added to their long list of atrocities. Spain`s thirst for blood also included Jews and many others inside their country. It is no secret what crimes they committed in the name of religion. These crimes continued into the 20th century during Spain`s civil war. Spain has no right to cast the first stone as their long history is bathed in blood and crime. Spain will never have `clean hands` nor will they ever be able to wash all the blood from those hands ! |
