If East Jerusalem Arabs don`t like the policies of Jerusalem`s municipal government, they should quit boycotting the elections and get some of their own on the city council. They have had the right to do so since 1967 but have never done so.
BTW - Building codes are a feature of every city government in the first world. My home town of San Jose, CA will evacuate or demolish structures that are built without permits as a matter of public safety. Only in Jerusalem are laws like this controversial.
One of these days, all the illegally built homes in E. Jerusalem are going to burn or fall down and the massive loss of life will be the Jew`s fault for failure to enforce the building codes. |
