| I remember reading, some time ago, after Spain officially ended the Inquisition, and the Queen attended services in a Spanish Synagogue, that there were an estimated 500,000 Jews in Spain. That is more than a few. It probably makes Spain one of the largest Jewish populations in the world, if that number is true. I laso recently read a genetics study done in Spain that shows the percentage of Spaniard who have Jewish blood at a very high number. It was either 10% or 40%. Either number is pretty high. This has nothing to do with any so-called Jewish "pressure" on Spain, but I just wanted to correct the statement that there are virtually no Jews in Spain since the 1492 expulsion. |
