| From just a few facts it is clear the ruling is wrong. JFS rejects a non-Orthodox conversion, but does accept an Ortholdox conversion. How can this be a metter of race? If the same mother undrwent an Orthodox conversion -- or if her son said he wanted to undergo an Orthodox conversion -- all would be acceptable. You cannot convert from one race to another, although the late beloved Michael Jackson seems to have come close. I hope the House of Lords overturns the Court of Appeal ruling and restores the High Court ruling in favour of JFS. |
