so what if reagan idolised roosevelt.
of course roosevelt talked to stalin. they were allies against the nazis. however, roosevelt disregarded churchill`s advice on stalin and the partition of poland. churchill was the real statesman there.
however. once the war was over, no one talked to stalin given his sordid crimes against humanity and his totalitarian system.
as far as i am concerned, obama can talk to whomever he pleases. he is entitled to get embarrassed. i do not think that talks with north korea or iran would lead anywhere. |
