Reagan idolized Roosevelt. Roosevelt talked to Stalin. Stalin helped set up North Korea and Lil` Kim`s dad as dictator. Reagan did talk to adversaries, just like Roosevelt.
Obama plans to talk to adversaries just like Reagan and Roosevelt. Only neocons are incapable of talking to adversaries. They create them, instead.
Reagan had some ideas on human rights and used other people`s ideas, too. In particular, he used Carter`s ideas on human rights to great effect.
Reagan was not perfect though. As governor, he looted the California State Teachers Retirement System in his capacity as governor. That was an expediency. It wasn`t right or legal and it hurt a lot of people.
