Article 27 of Mandate: "The consent of the Council of the League of Nations is required for any modification of the terms of this mandate." That means that the right of Jews to continue to muscle their way into "Judea and Samaria" was indeed open to "negotiation". That right was taken away from them by the Partition Plan, which did garner the necessary consent (33-13, in fact). Ch3: "Palestinian citizens residing in Palestine outside the City of Jerusalem, as well as Arabs and Jews who, not holding Palestinian citizenship, reside in Palestine outside the City of Jerusalem shall, upon the recognition of independence, become citizens of the State in which they are resident" That was the cutoff, Moshe, and it cuts your argument off at the knees. |
