| If my understanding of halacha is correct, bread must all be prepared by a Jew to avoid the impurities associated with idol worship. Since the baker worships her Jesus idol, the bread would be by definition non-kosher. It`s like demanding a Muslim certify pork as Halal. Of course, what makes me think that Haaretz would strike a different pose in that case? |
