To my Lebanese neighbors: and if he had served in the IDF, so what? Clearly he is a comedian who performs an act which is popular in Lebanon, he speaks a language which you undersand and he was willing to visit your beautiful country. Why should he be persecuted for trying to do something good?
As you certainly know very well, ALL Israelis must do military service (I have no idea if Gad Elmaleh is Israeli). Not all Muslim Arabs are terrorists, so stop implying that all Israelis (or Zionists) want to `conquer your lands`. Yes you can assume that most Israelis are Zionists. From our point of view, Zionism just means believing that Israel has a right to exist. Do you believe that Lebanon has a right to exist? |
