| This morning`s NY Times reports that unnamed sources in the Israel establishment say that Israel is open to a temporary freeze on settlement building (3-6 months) but it would not include building "currently under way", whatever that means. That is not much of an offer, if it is actually to be made and it raises more questions--such as whether this reward to these "outposters" will also be an exception. In all events, it is a hell of a poor way to show good will. |
