| The headline should clearly state that these 50 homes were approved by the olmert government. Since Netanyahu came into office he hasn`t signed off on one signal new home. Yet Peace Now keeps constantly putting out press releases from approvals that olmert made to make it like the present israeli government is doing this. This latest 50 home approval was from a supreme court breif that clearly states olmert signed off on it in his final year. But the headline says Israel making it like the present government when in fact it was Olmert`s government. Reuters today is reporting that Netanyahu has not signed off on one new home for settlers since he came into power in late march. But Haaretz and Peace Now keep trotting out these headlines to make Netanyahu look bad even though they are from decisions Olmert made. |
