So instead of moving these people out of Palestinian land and into Israel proper, they are being moved from illegal outposts where they were squatting to other settlements in the West Bank?? They should be moved into Israel proper. All the government is doing is shuffling people around from one piece of confiscated land to another. Just what, may I ask, makes these new homes legal and the outposts illegal when all were set up long after settlement construction should hvae been halted?
Let`s remember that the land that will be needed will not be only where the houses stand, but the usual sprawling infrastructure of a couple of access roads, public buildings, schools, kindergartens, etc. More land taken from the ever shrinking Palestinian state that somehow Bibi dreams will accept some sort of an agreement. Soon we will need a magnifying glass to see the tiny shrinking fragments left on the map. |
