The rents are skyrocketing and I can`t afford to move...but to go to a settlement is a social death sentence for a single divorced mother. Firstly, most settlements don`t want single mothers, second those that take us...no one invites us for Shabbat!!! I need my social network in the city to live a healthy vibrant life, and you promised to stop the foreigners from buying up the city and remodeling and jacking rents, but you`ve done nothing!!! Screw East Jerusalem. The Arabs there aren`t even loyal Israeli citizens and they deserve to have their houses torn down if they don`t have permits.
