| For the last 8 years the US was trying to destabilize Iran. We armed and funded Sunni fanatics in the SE and Kurds in the SW of the country. We instigated several agitations and propaganda campaigns. All of this was so crass, blatant and incompetently done that it had little effect and certainly is not responsible at all for the current troubles. The Supreme Leader and his rabid dog Ahmadinejad decided to conduct what was a blatant and clumsy attempt at election fraud which backfired causing protests which they decided to beat into submission proving to the entire world they were guilty in the first place. This crass, blatant and incompetent coup d`etat was not the work of the US or Israel. It was entirely home grown. |
