| For over 30 years Israeli policy has been to destabilize Lebanon and keep it from being a viable nation. The irony of this policy is that it has turned a hapless and feeble nation into a sanctuary for Hizbollah. Now Israel is threatening further destabilization. What it really needs is to have a Lebanon strong enough to prevent the use of Lebanese territory for attacks on Israel. |
