| By having the parking lot allows Israelis and tourists to visit the Old City who don`t live nearby. They want to be connected to the holy sites. On the other hand the haredim are desecrating the Sabbath by rioting which is forbidden any day of the week especially on Saturday which is sacred. They subvert the meaning of Judaism and Jewish law. The modern Orthodox and the secular and traditional Jews do respect Jewish law. |
