three whole months, you say? oh...well of course this doesn`t include the 200 structures already started(advanced stages most likely means any that have been "blueprinted")...and i`ll venture to say that NONE of these 200 construction "starts" are single family units...more likely to be apartment "complexes" with multiple buildings.
and this great and magnanimous gesture is "intended to gauge the palestinian response[to a "freeze in construction while construction continues] and to determine whether the americans are willing to consider the proposal[of israel`s continued constructing while freezing construction]"?
and likely to be extended of course, for another three whole months of constructively frozen construction!
seriously barak...do you really expect a positive response from the palestinians? and exactly WHAT proposal is it that you hope for "the americans" to consider? an under-the-table handshake that you "claim" to have had with bush? not likely for either!
it IS interesting though...how YOU propose the exact same status quo as netanyahu; while making it "appear" to be a concession. |
