Netanyahu promised the impossible to get elected as Prime Minister. He told the settlers what they wanted to hear, he told the people living in Israel proper what they wanted to hear. He told the diaspora what they wanted to hear.
Problem is what he promised under Bush would have worked. Because lets face it Bush was prepared to destroy the United States for Israel.
However there is a new man in town and he wants change. He doesn`t want troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and as Netanyahu suggests Iran.
Gideon thankyou for trying to show The Emperors new clothes were made to fit all sizes, when in reality they fit none.
But it was entertaining to see Netanyahu scurrying about in the gutter trying to find some crumbs, only in the end, to again cancel a meeting with Israel`s closest ally.
Hopefully, sometime soon Netanyahu will realise the lunacy of demanding the world invade countries, so that Israel can continue the occupation. |
