bronxite, how is haaretz suppose to investigate the "truth" to his allegations other than interviewing the villagers; whose accounts you`d no doubt ridicule and degrade as "typical" lies? besides, the article clearly states that the "battalion is already being investigated by the Military Police following earlier reports". knowing the idf`s knack for covering up the depth of its members` crimes; if they report even the slightest "hint" of wrongdoing...you can bet the soldier`s claims are ALL true.
and though the concept of "moral integrity" may be completely foreign to you and bob, whose post follows yours; there ARE in fact people who not only possess it, but also "act" on it.
