bronxite, how is haaretz suppose to investigate the "truth" to his allegations other than interviewing the villagers; whose accounts you`d no doubt ridicule and degrade as "typical" lies? besides, the article clearly states that the "battalion is already being investigated by the Military Police following earlier reports". knowing the idf`s knack for covering up the depth of its members` crimes; if they report even the slightest "hint" of wrongdoing...you can bet the soldier`s claims are ALL true. and though the concept of "moral integrity" may be completely foreign to you and bob, whose post follows yours; there ARE in fact people who not only possess it, but also "act" on it. in what possible way would he benefit were he indeed "a self seeking publicity hound"? especially in israel? |
