| Gideon Levy paints a devastatingly accurate picture of Netanyahu but still manages to give us a chuckle. Israel has entered into an era for which there is no precedent to fall back upon. Bibi has an opportunity to make history, but if he takes this opportunity, he will certainly have to change his partners at least once. In Israel, which is the land of opposites, it would be fitting if Netanyahu, of all people, directed a west bank withdrawal in order to make way for a Palestinian state. It may not be his ideal personal image of himself, but it is better than being a salesman of moldy wares that nobody wants! |
