| Bellicose statements from Syria and Iran are not surprising. Assad is worried about losing Iranian support and Achi in Iran is worried about his government being overthrown. The usual childish reaction is to speak aggressively to get people`s minds off internal problems. Interestingly, Hamas is not following suit. This might be an indication of the possibility of weaning them away from both Damascus and Teheran and should be vigourously pursued by the West. |
