| Its very clear that the Quartet uses different language when speaking about what the palestinians must do compared to what they ask of the israelis. When the usa or the Quartet issues demands to the palestinians (which have a limited number of resources due to occupation) they have consequences allocated to them incase the palestinians refuse the demands, but when it comes to israel they only `suggest` and `ask` and `urge` the zionist to make moves toward peace. Now since the usa is israel`s biggest donor why cant the usa use it leverage to force the israelis to comply like they make the PA do. Now this crazy notion of renouncing violence from the usa and the european nations is far from what they themselves renounce. I ask of obama to renounce your violent acts inside of iraq and afghanastan and pakistan (just to name a few present day situations, not to mention the past transgression of pure violence load up and shipped around the world like in vietnam). |
