| OK, if the U.S. and the EU insist on a "demographic freeze" in the Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and in the seam-zone area until the final peace agreement determines where the border is, then they can`t really object to Israel "demographically freezing" Palestinian communities in those very same disputed areas as well and for the same reason without looking like mega-hypocrites or without exposing their presumptions about where they think that the border is and which they have no authority to impose. George Mitchell`s "freeze ray" can be used in both directions. So, Bibi should tell the U.S. and the EU, "If you freeze us, then we freeze them. Next brilliant idea?" |
