I`ve said many times that I dislike the settlements, that Israel should be building West, not East, of the former Israel-Jordan Green Line.
But I also dislike the Obama administration`s very public anti-Israel campaign. That campaign won`t end conclusively until noon on 20 January 2013, but it can be at least forestalled.
So in the meanwhile, why shouldn`t Israel poke back at the Quartet members? For example, Russia has very nicely managed to overrun entire swathes of democratic Georgia and set up puppet governments there. Where`s the outrage against THAT? The EU parliament recently welcomed newly-elected members of anti-Semitic parties from the UK and Hungary. You call THAT moral authority? The Obama administration is still refusing to release documents detailing Bush-era torture during interrogations of inmates at secret US prisons. How ethical is THAT?
The Quartet ought to lower its dirty laundry flags first, and play a different tune, before asking Israel to salute.
