| In a free society (democratic society) the people should be allowed to think as they will and participate in whatever cause they would like so long as it is peaceful. Should Mexican Americans in the US choose to morn the lost of the entire west to the Americans, I would find it unimaginable that the US would ban such a movement. Ideas are fought with ideas and no one has a monopoly on history - history is told by the victors and it is not always an objective view of it, in fact, it rarely is. |
