| I`t high time the Israeli government empower the Palestinians in such contentious issues as settlements. Israel should agree to a complete settlement freeze for one year in return for Arab guarantees of non violence. During this period, for every missile fired at Israel or every suicide bomber caused death of a Jew, the Israeli government puts up a house in Etzion, Maale Adumin or Ariel. For a bus bomb...an apartment building. Pizza joints or passover seders....Tourist Hotel in view of the old city from East Jerusalem. Very simple to enforce on both sides. Have Jimmy Carter monitor the missile flights.... |
