As of May 31, Israel held 7669 Palestinian prisoners in its gulag (11 of them 18 years old or under).
Among them are 749 ?administrative detainees? who are held without charge, much less a trial. About half have been held for longer than Gilad. *Several dozen* (according to Ha?aretz are in jail for as long as Shalit for nothing more than having been elected on the Hamas ticket in the 2006 election.
