| put on Israel. The US can pressure Israel but cannot force it to do anything. If you imagine that the threat of withholding aid on arms is all that it would take, then think and perhaps read again. http://tinyurl.com/usaidtoisrael What`s more, Obama is slipping in the polls and has much more on his plate than Israel. The US economy is still floundering with unemployment close to 10% and if he doesn`t fix the economy then he`s a one termer. US citizens didn`t like him bowing to the Saudi king, and they don`t like his reactions or non-reactions to N. Korea and Iran. Forty-four percent (44%)of Americans now disapprove of him. In short, he`s a man with a lot of big problems. Jane |
