| Quite right. We have a large number of articles indicating the Israeli government is endeavouring to get the US to agree on ways to secure settlements. The assumption is, international law, the International Court of Justice, and UN resolutions are irrelevant. The only interlocutor is the US, which must first be persuaded to agree to basic Israeli conditions and then use its heft to push Israeli policy with Syria, the Arab nations, and the world, as though this were US policy. Since when is the US the arbiter of international law? |
